The Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi houses what could be the most expensive Christmas tree in the world.Standing 43 feet tall, this tree has been decked with jewelery worth $11 million dollars from a local jeweler.

The Hotel’s general manager, Hans Olbertz said that ‘The tree is artificial, not the jewelery though’.181 pieces of Emerald and Ruby bracelets,Strings of Pearls and Diamond necklace-earing sets worth $11 million Dollar have been used on decorating the tree.The priciest piece of these 181 jaw-dropping jewelery is a Diamond Set costing 3.5 million Dirhams or just short of 1 million USD.
