11 Confederate States

The Confederate States of America was a system arranged by government of the eleven Southern slave States of USA. This government was not recognized by any of the nation across the world as it had announced secession from the United States. The secession was rejected by the United States as being illegal and unauthorized. The US government also used the power of its military to defeat the secession. During American civil war the hold of confederacy over its territory has loosen the grip and claim the disappeared slowly and gradually. The union occupied majority of the area of that territory. The attempts of Union to occupy the Confederate capital at Richmond were fought back bravely by the Confederate General Robert E. Lee but Confederates lost so many warriors and supplies during this bloody battle.
