100 Car Pile-Up

The deadly blizzard led to 100-car pileup in north Dakota. There were speedy gush of winds and snowstorm which almost covered entire state before New Year. The blizzard obstructed traffic completely that led to a severe traffic jam and Pile up of cars on the highway I-94.as roads to both directions  toward Jamestown and Fargo were closed down.

The cars were stuck in a ditch surrounded by trucks and tractors. There many people, stuck in their vehicles and could not come out until the rescue team came to save them.

Another highway I-29 was also closed that connects Grand Forks, ND and SD.

The National Weather Service had already issued an alarm for the second snowstorm on Friday and appealed people to postpone their scheduled events.

Temperature reached to range around 20 degree below the freezing point in North Dakota and South Dakota. Snowplows were also taken off from the roads due to worsening weather and even flights were cancelled.
