Prince Sued by Attorney
Prince is being sued by his lawyer, former attorney Ed McPherson.
Singer Prince is being sued by Ed McPherson for an unpaid bill. The lawsuit against Prince was filed by his former lawyer in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Even Prince has a hard time paying his lawyer, but his former attorney had sued the singer for the unpaid bills.
The lawyer is claiming that Prince still owes him around $50,000 for past services rendered. Court documents stated that McPherson served as Prince’s legal counsel in two separate cases and has yet to be paid the $49,987.74 fee. He claims that he has made “countless attempts … to resolve this matter” with Prince and is seeking to recover his costs through the courts.
Prince is a singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. He has won seven Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, and an Academy Award. In 2004, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In addition, that same year he was ranked #28 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
