Dixie Chicks singer Natalie Maines now has a buzz cut!

Natalie Maines is showing off a new buzz cut hairstyle as the singer has cut her hair even shorter. In 2009 she had celebrity watchers excited with her first drastic cut. TMZ.Com dubbed it, “Natalie Maines, Sans Mane,” when she stepped out for photos in Venice, California in March of last year.

She must have enjoyed the attention or loves short hair as now she is one step short of a Britney Spears or Charlie Sheen head shaving experience with a close buzz cut.

She debuted her look while touring with the legendary US rock band “The Eagles.”  Lubbock Online writer William Kerns explains that when the Toronto Sun reviewer referred to Natalie’s “shaved head” — the “first reaction was to visualize the singer bald.”

She’s not quite bald, but is quite close to a 1990s Sinead O’Conner.
