Crystal Bowersox & Debut

Crystal Bowersox is all set to make her debut album.

Bowersox has signed a record deal with 19 recordings/Jive Records proving that her talent was far beyond than the American Idol runners-up crown. The talented singer will also be a part of the ‘American Idol Tour’ that will kick-off on July 1.

In spite of being the favorite to in the show from the very beginning Crystal Bowersox lost out to Lee DeWyze in the American Idol Finale. The music industry however recognized her immense potential and the break comes as no surprise to her already multiplying fan-base.

The 24 year old ‘idol’ said that she was excited to get the opportunity of releasing her own album so that people may hear her songs. She added that she is very excited to work with the record company. Barry Weiss, the chairman of RCA/JIVE Label Group said that Crystal Bowersox is not only a gifted singer but also has a dynamic stage presence. He also said that the fans could easily connect with her sincerity and straight-forwardness. He felt that she is on a league of her own and his record label is looking forward to working with her.

Founder and Creator of ‘American Idol’ Simon Fuller said that Crystal Bowersox was one of the most talented singer and songwriter to come out of the competition and that the breadth of her talent is inspiring. Her blue imbibed folk rock sound made her a favorite early on in the show and she maintained the reputation with some of her own compositions in the homecoming round.

After the show she said that her one year old son was her inspiration for success on American idol.
