I believe GoldenEye is the best Bond film for many reasons. For one thing, Pierce Brosnan is definitely one of the best actors to play James Bond besides Sean Connery. Secondly, Sean Bean is in the film and is a great actor. He dynamically goes from being a good guy to turning on Bond with good reason. The plot definitely develops thoroughly through the movie and doesn’t just jump sporadically from one thing to the next. The film is not cheesey like The World is Not Enough or Die Another Day. It has great villains like Xenia and Trevelyan. It is directed by Martin Campbell who goes for the gritty real look instead of overly polished with a glut of special effects. Izabella Scorupco plays the love interest Natalya and does an excellent job acting. People will remember this Bond film among the greats like Dr. No and Goldfinger.
