Can you believe Clint Eastwood will be the new director of the FBI? Well, okay it may just be in a film.

Reports indicate that the lagendary actor and director will soon be helming a feature film about the FBI and its mastermind J Edgar Hoover.

J Edgar Hoover was a legend for his efforts to pursue law and order through the organization he built, but also infamous for his eccentricities and what some consider to be his widespread abuse of power and irrational decisions.

Clint Eastwood has done a great job with his historical films up until now, and I expect this Hoover biopic o be smart and balanced as his other films were, hopefully not glossing over the dark side of J Edgar’s legacy.
