Avatar is going to re-release next summer and will include never before seen bonus footage.

Would you pay to watch Avatar again with a re-release including a few extra features and deleted scenes?  James Cameron and Fox are in discussions about re-releasing “Avatar” in late summer, the Hollywood Reporter notes.

The report notes that the second run would primarily be shown in 3D theaters, in late summer — and, tantalizingly, with additional scenes that had been left on the cutting-room floor.
