Vincent Jackson DUI

Vincent Jackson has been arrested on DUI charges. Jackson failed sobriety tests at 2 AM last night in San Diego. The California Highway Patrol Officer Ray Scheidnes, who arrested him, said he didn’t know what his blood alchohol level was.  San Diego visist the Steelers this Sunday in a division playoff game. It is unclear whether the Chargers will let him play or not in the game. Jackson just had the first 1,000-yard season of his career and will be sorely missed if he does have to sit out.

Whitney Casey and Jason Sehorn

Whitney Casey and Jason Sehorn were married for five years before they split in ‘99. The ex-Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn made a public proposal to Angie Harmon on the Jay Leno show while hiding backstage. Whitney Casey was a CNN correspondant. She is now the host of “Great Day Houston” on Houston’s KHOU-TV) Casey also wrote a book after their divorce titled “The Man Plan: Drive Men Wild… Not Away”. Jason Sehorn is now an anaylst on the Sunday NFL pre-game show on Fox Sports Net. Sehorn has three daughters in his marriage with Angie Harmon.

Marvin Harrison Shooting

Prosecutors will not proceed in the Marvin Harrison Shooting case. It seems there is nine different account from different witnesses. “We have nine or so versions of what happened. … Obviously, we haven’t heard the truth. We’ve heard pieces of the truth,” District Attorney Lynne Abraham said at a news conference. The shooting occured in Harrison’s old north Philadelphia neighborhood. One man was shot in the hand and a young boy was hit by shattered glass off a windshield. It is clear that it was Harrison’s old gun, but it is unclear who fired it. Harrison could still face civil court for what happened.

Adolf Merckle Suicide

The German billionaire Adolf Merckle committed suicide recently. The German press reports he jumped in front of an oncoming train. CNBC reported the news as suicide of the rich investor. He reportedly lost a lot of money trying to short Volkswagen stock. Supposedly he obtained a bridge loan to shore up his company, but it may not have been enough. Merckle was considered to be the German equivalent of Warren Buffet.

Rachel Glandorf

I saw the camera pan up in the Fiesta Bowl and I saw Colt McCoy’s parents and I wasn’t sure if it was his girlfriend or sister standing to the left of them. I looked it up and apparently it is McCoy’s girlfriend, Rachel Glandorf. Apparently she is also part-time sports reporter for Austin-based KEYE CBS TV. Maybe Rachel will be reporting in the NFL while McCoy is playing there. You never know. It’s like something out of a movie, the female sports reporter and the famous athlete. Kinda like Happy Gilmore. Good for you Colt!

Sharon Osbourne Fight Video

Here is the video of the Sharon Osbourne fight with Megan Hauserman. The fight took place during filming of the “Rock of Love:Charm School” reunion reality TV show. The clip only shows a portion of the fight but apparently Sharon was set off by Megan saying that the only reason she was famous was because of her “brain dead husband”. Apparently Megan is pressing assault charges after getting her arm violently scratched and having chunks of her hair pulled out.

Erin Andrews Sexual Harassment!

Here is a video of Erin Andrews and some borderline sexual harassment from Rey Maualuga during the Rose Bowl game. Maualuga sneaks up and does a provocative dance behind Miss Andrews after his team made a big play. Never seen a player embarrass a reporter that bad before. Somehow she just turns around and ignores it though, very professional.

Here is the YouTube video of this bizarre dance:
