The Casino that Denies a Man a Jackpot: this is certainly big news, especially when the disputed winnings is $166 million dollars. Bill Seebeck though he had won a jackpot, but it turned out to be a malfunction. Bill Seebeck’s phone rang after word got out he hit a $166 million jackpot, but the casino called and denies the jackpot victory to Bill.

Bill commented on the denied jackpot:

“I have high blood pressure and I just about passed out! I was like… it was really something. The first thing he said out of his mouth was, ‘It’s probably a malfunction. You probably didn’t win anything.’ You always hear about people winning, but you never think you’re gonna be one of ‘em. And then you do get picked finally and then you didn’t win.”

It didn’t all end badly for Bill though, the Casino had decided to give the man a different jackpot. That is, they will give him seperate winnings as part of an agreement. Regarding the exact terms of the agreement, which presumably may be to save face, Bill said “I don’t really wanna say because its… don’t wanna jeopardize anything.” Bill said that if he talks about the settlement, he will lose it.
