Val Kilmer has riled up his neighbors in New Mexico and is ready for a showdown!

Val Kilmer New Mexico neighbors says he is a racist. Kilmer’s neighbors claims that he had denied locals access to fishing holes in their nearby Pecos River. Kilmer will need to convince local officials otherwise if he wants permission to rent out guesthouses on his 5,300-acre ranch.

The famous actor is expected to attend a public meeting in San Miguel County, NM, later this month to explain interviews in which he called the area the “homicide capital of the Southwest” and said he keeps a gun in his vehicle. If he handles the gun like he did as Doc Holliday, watch out people.

In a 2003 interview with Rolling Stone, Kilmer said:

“Eighty percent of the people in my county are drunk.”
