Susan Boyle, has become the first female British singer to release a top ranked album in the US twice in a year.  The Scottish singer has released her second album ‘The Gift’ very shortly after the first release.

She is also the first female singer ever release any top ranked music album in the US and UK twice in a year with her very first album — I Dreamed A Dream.

I Dreamed A Dream was ranked among top US albums during Christmas holidays last year.

Boyle became popular in the UK after her appearance in a show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ last year. Her performance in “I Dreamed A Dream” gave her an overnight popularity worldwide and made her a super star across the Atlantic Ocean.
