Patricia Heaton’s decision to partake in politics seems to have affected her career. The actress who is famous for her role in the television comedy “Everybody Loves Raymond” does not let opportunities pass by without airing her views on political issues.

She and her husband, David Hunt made the whole world aware that they do not favor the granting of rights to gay though they claim to have gay friends. During an interview with Pop Eater, Patricia revealed that their explicit political views might have cost her some roles.

She said that, “We know for a fact there are some people who have said they wouldn’t want to work with us because of our politics. We get lumped in with lunatics.”

She revealed that she believes God have the final say regarding her career and she is ready to let things stay that way- in the hands of God. Her new show which she did put together with her husband is set to be aired by “My Damn Channel.” The homemade comedy has eight episodes.

Patricia and her husband revealed that they are not ready to shut up politically because of the effect it has had on her career.
