In  hypocritical fashion, Madonna is telling her 13 year-old daughter Lourdes to dress more conservatively!

Madonna in a recent interview said she doesn’t try to tell her daughter how to dress or what style to adopt as her own, and said that fashion independence runs in the family. But she did admit that if she had her wish, she would love to see her daughter dress more conservatively!

The proud mother said of her daughter Lourdes that she has the sense of freedom Madonna herself used to have when she was younger: “That is how I used to be, but after years and years of everybody commenting on the way I look and dress and being photographed, one starts to become self-conscious and starts to plan things more. You end up judging yourself more, what looks good and what doesn’t.”

It’s one of those ‘do as I say, not as I’ve acted the past thirty years!’ things.
