In recent celebrity news, Jennifer Love Hewitt  has a new do.

“Jennifer Love Hewitt” has cropped off her long locks in a new “after-breakup” hair do. Many women are known to re-invent themselves after a serious end to a relationship by getting make-overs, buying new clothes, or…yes…cropping off their hair. Jennifer is apparently no exception.

The star of the television show The Ghost Whisperer announced her break up from her boyfriend “Jamie Kennedy” last month after celebrity gossiper “Lisa Stanley” of KEarth 101 announced it the world that Jamie was not at Jennifer’s 31st birthday. At one time Jennifer felt he was “The One” and had this to say about him, “There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are,” Hewitt told Ellen DeGeneres last year. “And [Jamie] really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that’s for me when I sort of went, ‘Oh, wow.’ ”

After the announcement that the two had officially broken up, she let it be known that she hates being single. “Back in the shark tank!” she said. “I never said in the book that I knew how to be in the perfect relationship. I say in my book I want to be the readers’ kind spirit out in the dating world. And now, more than ever, I am. I don’t like to go out to clubs and party. I’m not into, ‘Let’s go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday,’ that’s just not me. I’m a relationship kind of girl. I like a twosome. Some people get excited about being single. I don’t.”

Now Jennifer has been seen all over Los Angeles sporting her wavy new bob hair cut. Her long flowing locks are barely chin length now, and fans seem to have mixed feelings about the new do. Some like it and some hate it, but all seem to love Jennifer.
