Lil Wayne 5 Million Super Bowl Bet?
Did Lil Wayne make a $5 million super bowl bet? Did he take the New York Giants or the New England Patriots?
Despite several conflicting reports, the rapper did not make the bet, however Lil Wayne's rap mentor Bryan 'Baby' Williams is ready to gamble big on the Super Bowl.
Birdman is risking $5 million on the New England Patriots winning the title.
Weezy's mentor/boss is also nicknamed Birdman and the betting line for Super Bowl XLVI is established and the Patriots are favored by the oddsmakers by a field goal, so the Birdman must give up 3 points for the Patriots side. (Patriots -3)
In other words, the Patriots need to win by at least four points for Williams to win his bet.
If the New England team wins by three points, Lil Wayne's mentor would push and receive all of his $5 million back, but no winnings (or losings).
If New England wins by two points or less, or loses the game, Birdman is out $5 million.
According to Baller Status, last season Weezy's pal had a successful day on Super Bowl Sunday as he won $1 millionon the Green Bay Packers to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in football's big game.
Super Bowl XLVI is played one week from Sunday and is scheduled for February 5 in Indianapolis.
Will he win $5 million with the Patriots?
