Lady Gaga has glued hundreds of pearls to her face!

Covered in face to platforms pearls, Lady Gaga attended the amfAR New York Gala to kick off fall 2010 Fashion Week at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City yesterday.

Joined by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, the Bad Romance singer was on hand at the M.A.C. Cosmetics-sponsored event to honor artist/humanitarian Elton John for his efforts to battle the AIDS epidemic.

This comes following their powerful performance at the recent Grammy Awards.

The black-tie dinner and auction affair also paid tribute to the late Natasha Richardson, who was involved with the non-profit organization for more than 15 years and served on the board from 2006 until her death in 2009.
