Katy Perry is set to host Teen Choice Awards 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8-10 PM ET) on FOX.

The Grammy-nominated artist will also perform during the 12th annual special that celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. She is on a roll lately as she was also #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list.

The coveted Teen Choice Surfboard awards will be awarded to 2010’s coolest stars in categories such as Choice TV Villain, Choice Scene Stealer and the newest entry, Choice Country Music Artist.
