When asked who should get the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title Hugh Jackman responded, “Me! I want to be the first to have it back to back.”

Hugh Jackman, 41 at the time, was asked who he wanted to see take over the title after his year was up, and he told People magazine he wanted to keep it for himself! The Australian is more at home singing show tunes on Broadway, in his own time, but in America he has become best known as the tough as nails action hero Wolverine.

He did say though that he looks forward to passing on the title so that he won’t have to work as hard to live up to that hype, and can start “being a slob again.”
