In a new bout of drama that is the last thing such a great man (or his family) needs at this stage of his life, Dennis Hopper’s divorce case continues with a ruling by the judge that Hopper’s estranged wife and daughter can keep living on his property as the contentious case plays out.

The legendary actor Hopper is in the final stages of a long battle with cancer, and as he fades away he’s become caught up in another battle with his wife, whom he wants to divorce. The two have been married for over 13 years.

The wife has been living at Hopper’s compound in Venice California, but Hopper and his divorce attorneys were hoping to force her out, apparently. Not taking sides or judging who s right or wrong, but it’s just a shame the family has to be in such turmoil at this point in their lives.
