Evidently Halle Berry doesn’t have to go through airport security like the rest of us, when she was in a Montreal airport the Hollywood actress got to bypass security altogether.

This just goes to show if you are rich and famous you don’t get treated like the ‘average joe’ citizen. So next time you hear that security rules apply to everyone, you will know that is a bold faced lie.

“The [boyfriend] of Ms Berry asked if they could go faster through the line because they were late and they had the baby,” Inspector Jimmy Cacchione said. “The officer took the personal initiative to allow them to go through the line faster, but that’s not something the Montreal police supports.”

One journalist who happened to be in line, gave her two cents on the matter:

“They went from the back all the way to the front, and they were next in line to get through customs,” said Mariève Paradis, a Quebec freelance journalist based in Los Angeles, who had been waiting in line for about an hour with her husband Charles Jacques.

“I wondered, ‘Why is that?’ Boarding was starting in half an hour and we were worried we were going to miss our flight,” Paradis said in an interview.
