Gabor Husband Glues Eyes Shut
Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, the husband of ailing legendary actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, is wearing an eye patch following a procedure to help fix the eye he accidentally glued shut on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
Publicist John Blanchette said that Von Anhalt was reaching for his eye drops in the dark and accidentally grabbed a bottle of Gabor’s nail glue.
He went to an eye doctor in Beverly Hills to have the damage repaired before returning to the home he and his wife share in Bel Air, California, and removing all nail glue from the bathroom.
The 68-year-old man will be forced to wear an eye patch for the next two weeks. Oddly enough, Gabor, who is now 93, suffered a similar eye injury many years ago when she used a bottle of “krazy glue” on her false eyelashes rather than eyelash glue.
The actress has been confined to a wheelchair since a car accident in 2002, and recently survived multiple complications following hip replacement surgery.
