Could Freida Pinto be the next Bond girl?

We all know this gorgeous woman from Mumbai from the Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ But the 25 year old has also done some local TV spots and advertisements, as well as a few years of modeling. Once she started taking acting lessons, her career took off!

In 2010 it looks like Freida Pinto’s next bond girl role, will only be of that she is working on. She has also signed on to be a lead role in the film ‘War of the Gods’ which starts production in April. Both of the film she is working on should premier in 2011 and I’m excited to see how her acting career is coming along.

The next Bond film is still in the formulating stages and therefore not too much is set in stone. However we do have our James and his lady, and most likely the setting will be in New York City. Talks are still going on about who will continue their roles and who will play new ones. The crew does hope to start filming this summer or possibly a little later.

Other than making her famous, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ also brought romance into her life. Last year rumors went around that she was dating her co-star from the film Dev Patel, and we now know it to be true. And he doesn’t mind his girl being close with her next co-star. “It will be a typically glamorous and raunchy role and Dev has been joking to friends he is cool with seeing Freida rolling around with 007.”

Both of these movies could be huge roles for this girl’s career. And she has been lucky enough to play different kind of roles which opens up so many more doors.
