Famous Frenemies

It’s astonishing how many famous frenemies there are out there!

Particularly for celebrities it is sometimes difficult to tell who is your friend and who is your enemy. Often, in fact, they may turn out to be the same person.

Here are some examples of famous ‘frenemies’:

Childhood friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie starred in their own reality show, the Simple Live TV show. But apparently Nicole has done something to make the pair fall our and go their separate ways. Paris Hilton was quoted saying “Nicole knows what she did”.

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have drifted apart due to their different preference in lifestyle -- Aniston’s go-go life doesn’t gel with Cox’s more family-oriented priorities.

Finally, another example of famous frenemies is illustrated by Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. A whole series of The Hills was based around them. As former roommates, things got a little mean after Heidi Montag began seeing Spencer Pratt who in turns started spreading rumours of a Lauren Conrad sex tape.
