For decades fans have speculated about what killed Elvis, and there have been many theories. But now his close friend and personal physician has come out and said he believes it was chronic constipation  that did in the King.

According to the source, Dr. Nichopoulos, “We weren’t sure [of the exact cause of death] so I continued to do some research, I had some doctors call me from different places and different med schools that were doing research on constipation and different problems you can get into with it.”

And his conclusion was that constipation was indeed the cause of Elvis’s demise.
