Samantha Womack, who plays the role of Ronnie Branning in soap EastEnders cried while shooting a death tragedy.

The actress said it was the most horrific four weeks of her life.

In the soap, Ronnie Branning [Samantha] loses her son James who was just one-day-old. Ronnie Branning was secretly going to swap the child with Kat Moon’s baby Tommy being shocked due to a misunderstanding.

Samantha revealed her overwhelming emotions inside a soap magazine and stated that she could not stop crying when the scenes of Ronnie finding her dead baby were being filmed.

She further said that she was so much involved with the soap that she watched it continuously when returned home after shooting. She added that she could feel what Ronnie was going through and she felt bad for portraying the character.
