It seems this is the year (2009) of the celebrity baby boom. The stars are popping them out like never before.

A boom in Hollywood babies means a boom in Hollywood profits, as photos and video of the famous kids bring big dollars in the tabloid media world.

Among the celebrities welcoming new babies into the world were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Mel Gibson, Colin Farrel, plus Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.

Not to mention Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. So presumably there should also be a boom coming soon in fancy baby strollers, designer baby clothes, nannies and maybe those Zhu Zhu pets.
