Bob Janjuah
Bob Janjuah is the Chief Credit Strategist at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). The credit analyst has been bearish on the markets for a long time. Bob Janjuah has been one of the few (like his American counterpart Peter Schiff) to be proven to be correct in predicting the credit crisis that occurred in 2007 and onward. While many other permabears on the market are called out to be opportunists who fail to turn profitable investments based on their predictions or make accurate predictions, years ago Bob Janjuah put his money where his mouth was and sold, sold, sold, in a manner that disturbed his colleagues who thought the market was solid. For the most part, people didn’t understand or believe his behavior was based on a solid conclusion. In the end, it turned out Bob Janjuah was right to make that call, and the crisis began.
Bob Janjuah has listed a sharp critique of the economy and the “easy money” policies of the Federal Reserve, predicting that the free money flowing to banks will only lead to a greater collapse down the road. One of his recent writings from “Bob’s World” is available below.
