(Gucci Mane’s Real Name is Radric Davis -- Gucci Mane’s Music Video)

Gucci Mane (whose real name is Radric Davis) is spending a year in prison. Gucci Mane had a probation violation. Authorities have not released information as to what Radric Davis’ probation violation was. In October 2005, Radric Davis, AKA Gucci Mane, was sentenced to 6 months in jail and years of probation after a no contest plea to various assault charges (including with a deadly weapon). In July of 2008 Radric Davis was again arrested, this time for having a firearm (convicted felons lose their right to bear arms), for possession of marijuana, and for driving under the influence. Gucci Mane was sentenced to a year in jail for these crimes and violations of his probation. He was released for those charges on bail, but Gucci went back to jail for one year for failing to perform his mandated 600 hours of community service. Gucci was released early, in March of this year.

Once more returning to prison, Radric Davis has been arrested again on Thursday, November 12th for another probation violation. “Gucci Mane” was scheduled to release a new album “The State Vs. Radrick Davis” on December 8th, 2009, but it appears “The State” has arrested him once more. Many anticipate that the rapper may actually become more famous while behind bars.
