After performing much charity during his life, Paul Newman’s friends are throwing a fundraiser in his namesake. This posthumous charitable event will be going towards helping a children’s camp for kids with life-threatening illnesses.

Newman was well known for his charity work, even much of the proceeds from his “Newman’s Own” brand foods went towards good causes.

Said Danny Glover “”We expected Paul to be with us and so this kind of turned into kind of a tribute. This is the first time we are doing this without Paul--there is a void there, without a doubt.”
