Mean Joe Greene will finally receive an award for his classic coke commercial, it will be awarded to him before the Steelers game this Sunday.

Joe Greene will receive a Clio award, the award given each year to the best commercials and advertisements, for his role in one of the most famous TV ads ever, his legendary Coca-Cola ad where a young boy gives him a bottle of Coke, and then he tosses the kid his football jersey (which would now be a pretty sweet throwback jersey).

The Clio was actually awarded 30 years ago when the ad first hit TV sets, but somehow Joe Greene never got his award, so the Clios are taking this opportunity to make things right on the thirtieth anniversary.
