(John Cusack: “We Should Try to Go Skiing”)

John Cusack is starring in the new 2012 film which opens Friday November 13th, 2009 in the United States. The film portrays the prophesied doomsday as taking place, and the protagonist must escape the destruction with his family. When asked by Entertainment Tonight what he would do on the 2012 doomsday date, John Cusack offered a novel idea posited to him by his director.

John Cusack said:

“Roland Emmerich, the director, had a good idea. He said we should try to go skiing, so if we’re up on top of the mountain, we’ll see the wave coming. So I thought that sounded like a good idea.”

Most of the celebrities tended to be calm on the subject, suggesting that the film is meant to be good fun more than intending to cause any kind of scare or panic.
