Uma Thurman will be starring in a remake of an old classic. The Eloise series was started out in 1955 with the book “Eloise: A Book for Precocious Grown-Ups” which has a sequel in which Eloise goes to Paris, and that is being remade with Uma Thurman as the character “Nanny”. Eloise goes to Paris’ Uma Thurman role is that of a caretaker, who is quite central to the story. Jordana Beatty, a relative unknown, will play Eloise herself. The movie is adapted from “Eloise goes to Paris” is called “Eloise in Paris”, a slight change from the original title.

Over 4,000 girls had auditioned for the role of Eloise, before Jordana Beatty finally won the part of the girl from the 1957 classic who is a 6-year-old resident of The Plaza Hotel in New York.
