Ozzy Osbourne World of Warcraft TV AD

Man this is hilarious! It will make your day. I never expected the Prince of Darkness to do a World of Warcraft TV ad but here it is. Ozzy Osbourne cracks me up! They have to put translations in the TV ad so people can tell what he’s saying. Very clever commercial as it ties in with new expansion the Witch King. There can only be one Prince of Darkness!

Half Blood Prince Trailer-New!

Here is the latest film coming out in the Harry Potter Saga. It is called Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This is the newest trailer out so far. There are a lot of die hard fans out there that are having trouble waiting for it’s release date of July 17th of 2009. All of the Harry Potter films have been gigantically profitable with a huge market audience. Most of the characters from all the earlier films have returned for this film so it should turn out the same success.

Hal Steinbrenner Takes Control

George Steinbrenner is passing control of the Yankees to his son. Hal Steinbrenner will now have executive control of the New York Yankees. The elder Steinbrenner has controlled the Yankess since 1973 and has lead to lots of success throughout his tenure. George Steinbrenner was known for his talkative mouth and willingness to buy whatever players were needed, at any price. The Yankees won 6 world series titles under Steinbrenner’s ownership. We’ll see if destiny is as kind to his son.

My Favorite Tyler Hansbrough Video

This is a cool video of North Carolina Tar Heel Tyler Hansbrough and his top three dunks so far in his career. It also has his commentary while you see some great pics and clips from his dunks. My favorite is when he dunked over the 7′7″ Kenny George of North Carolina Asheville. Take a look…

Top Ten Wide Receivers in the NFL

Here is my list of the Top Ten Wide Receivers in the NFL for 2008.

10. Steve Smith: Has great experience as he’s been to a Super Bowl. Has been good throughout most of his career. This season he has four touchdowns and nearly 700 yards receiving.

9. Santana Moss: More streaky than others on this list. You never know when Moss is going to beat you deep, but when he does, look out! He averages about 14.3 yards per reception.

8. T.J. Houshmandzadeh: It is about as hard to spell his name as it is for defensive backs to cover him. He is having a stellar year in 2008. It would be even better if he had a good quarterback throwing him the ball.

7. Roddy White: Now that they have a good quarterback in Atlanta, Roddy White has flourished. He has 900 yards receiving and 6 touchdowns already!

6. Brandon Marshall: Marshall is already starting to come into his own this year with Cutler throwing to him. He caught 18 receptions in one game this year against the San Diego Chargers which set a record for most in a game.

5. Reggie Wayne: Now that he is more out of Marvin Harrison’s shadow, Wayne is playing as good as ever. He has been one of Peyton Manning’s main targets for the past four years and will only develop further.

4. Larry Fitzgerald: Now that Kurt Warner has been on fire so too will Fitzgerald. His stats have been incredible thus far, he has nearly 940 yards receiving and 6 touchdowns.

3. Greg Jennings: Has been really impressive this year as he was virtually unknown before this season. Aaron Rodger loves to pass it to him and will continue to do so. He has five touchdowns and averages about 86 yards receiving a game.

2. Calvin Johnson: Nicknamed ‘Megatron” probably for his size and build and the fact he is ruthlessly efficient. Their is no Optimus Prime corner back who seems to be able to guard him. This on top of the fact he has a no-name quarterback throwing to him and he still puts up impressive numbers. He will be the main target no that Roy Williams went to Dallas.

1. Anquan Boldin: If there is one guy you know will come down with the ball when you throw a hail mary, Boldin is that guy. He is one of Kurt Warner’s favorite targets on that impressive Cardinals offense. Most Super Bowl teams seem to have a Michael Irvin or Jerry Rice type guy. Well the Cardinals are lucky enough to have two high caliber receivers.

NFL Week 12 Predictions

Here are my NFL Week 12 picks and predictions:

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers are on a roll right now and have a killer defense. Whereas the Bengals couldn’t win if the other team let them. -Steelers by 7

Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns: The Browns stuck it out and won last week giving Brady Quinn confidence that he can prevail. -Browns by 5

San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys: In this classic match up the Cowboys will show off all their talent on offense. -Cowboys by 6

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions: Detroit will catch the Bucs off guard with a knockout punch.

-Lions by 4

New York Jets at Tennessee Titans: Oh man! What a game this will be! I’m seeing Favre and the Jets pull this one out and hand the Titans their first loss. -Jets by 2

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs: If your watching this game, your either bored or have money on it. Chiefs are out to prove they can win, while the Bills are still depressed from last week’s ‘Wide Right’ loss.

-Chiefs by 3

Chicago Bears at St.Louis Rams: The Bears defense will crack down on the Rams lousy offense.

-Bears by 5

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins: This game should be a nail biter. -Pats by 3

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags just can’t get anything going, while the Vikes are desperately wanting to make a playoff spot. -Vikes by 5

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens: McNabb will try to make up for not knowing you can lose in overtime. -Eagles by 7 in regulation

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos: Call me pesimistic but the Raiders are not going to win this game. -Broncos by 8

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons: Panthers have been quietly winning with no one mentioning it in the media. -Panthers by 2

New York Giants at Arizona Cardinals: It’s been a long while since the Giants lost a game and I think the Cardinals are just the ones to give them a check up. -Cards by 3

Washington Redskins at Seattle Seahawks: Redskins will run the ball down the Seahawks throat, just because they can! -Redskins by 9

Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers: A very important game for the Colts to keep their playoff contentions alive. -Colts by 4

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints: A perfect game for Monday Night Football, just be jammed pack full of excitement and wonder. -Saints by 5

Jeff Pendergraph

This Arizona State Forward is a senior this year and looks to lead his 15th ranked Sun Devils team to the NCAA tournament. Jeff Pendergraph was averaging 12.4 points and 6.4 rebounds a game. He had ten points in his first game of 2008 against Missisippi Valley State. Pendergraph looks to be the standout player on his team this year as his teammates don’t score quite as often as he does. The Pac Ten will still be a tough conference this year with teams like Washington State and UCLA just as tough as ever. The big game for them to test their strength will be their game at UCLA on January 17th who is ranked fourth in the country to start the season.
