In this comedic video, Stephen Colbert calls Obama the “Meryl Streep” of presidents.

The hilarious comment was spoken while he was on the David Letterman show. Whether this is praise or an insult we cannot say. Meryl has won lots of Oscars as a leading lady and has broken the Hollywood flusie stereotype.

Colbert was referring to Obama’s ability to memorize a script and says his lines in one take. But why didn’t he reference a male actor, slightly odd for someone good at improvisation. Getting inside Colbert’s head is like trying to breach a well-secured vault.

Colbert also proposes that President Obama taking a starring role in a musical called “Mama Mia!”
